Goodbye wood, Hello Rubber! I must own dozens of pairs of sticks. But I just purchased an electronic drum kit which has black rubber pads instead of normal skins used on a normal acoustic drum. High Quality Sticks (opinion from a VicFirth fan) First off I’d like to mention that I’ve been using VicFirth Float and Hardimon sticks (Tom Float was my instructor) for over 11 years.
