Get this amp!! I went to the music store and I played an Ibanez Gsr6ex 6-String Electric Bass (Amber Burst which is beautiful BTW) through this Ampeg Portaflex Series PF-500 500-Watt Bass Amplifier Head using an Ampeg SVT-410HLF cabinet and WOW. This head sounds great through that rig!! It has a compression knob which makes this amp a must have. I tried the compression and it made such a big difference.
