My Luthier said that good tuners are expensive
I should have paid attention to the other negative reviews… I bought these instead of some nicer ones despite a few concerning reviews I had read because they exactly matched the ones already on my guitar and I didn’t want to deal with any surprises on the replacement. My mistake… five of the six pieces worked great, and the remaining one broke during tuning. It is still all attached, but the knob just spins on the shaft and won’t get any tighter, and the string is a note lower than it should be. The rest worked well, but I think I am going to just…
