Yamaha KP65 Kick Drum Tower is THE ONE! I’m using the Alesis Forge electric drums (but not the electric cymbals – I still use real cymbals), and while I like the drums a great deal, I found myself disappointed with the kick drum pad, specifically in use with my DW3000 double-bass drum pedal. The Yamaha kick tower is AWESOME! Works…
Almost as silent as any DTX drum pad This review is for the KP100KP100 fixes all of the issues I had with the KP125W (noted below): I honestly can’t believe how silent this thing is. To give you an idea, it sounds just about as noisy as (strongly) hitting any of the DTX pads I have (DTX XP100T and DTX XP100SD). Though I’d still strongly recommend having a rubber mat below it, specially if you have neighbors downstairs, as constantly stomping on the pedal still create a lot of vibrations that they can hear.I…

While it does indeed work, I do have to watch it since it moves around a good bit and my pedal can actually move away from where it’s clamped down. I probably…
