Vater Safe and Sound Ear Plugs

Good, not great….. First things first; these work but not as great as others are leading you to believe. I picked these up a few weeks back and have used them 4 times since while playing drums in my practice space. I am not a hard hitter but I would say I am on average with most intermediate-advanced drummers. They do not filter out higher frequencies very well regardless of Red/Green filter (I tried both) and a few rim shots or harder china hits and your ears will feel it. The only earplugs I have used for years I am a professional musician, and protecting my hearing is incredibly important to me. I’m very pleased with them, they filter the nasty frequencies and I can hear the drums my bass and other instruments very clear, I can also listen to voices when someone speaks without having to remove them.
