Good, not great….. First things first; these work but not as great as others are leading you to believe. I picked these up a few weeks back and have used them 4 times since while playing drums in my practice space. I am not a hard hitter but I would say I am on average with most intermediate-advanced drummers. They do not filter out higher frequencies very well regardless of Red/Green filter (I tried both) and a few rim shots or harder china hits and your ears will feel it. A must for the serious musician As a bass player for http://www.bourbonblues.net I find myself besides the drummer very often, so I went for this Percission set. I’m very pleased with them, they filter the nasty frequencies and I can hear the drums my bass and other instruments very clear, I can also listen to voices when someone speaks without having to remove them.
