Ordered this keyboard stand to use predominantly for holding a USB keyboard controller at home, which it does without fanfare. My reasoning behind 3 stars is merely that, while having feet braces large enough to compensate, it does not sit perfectly level on the floor (and yes, I checked the floor). During construction of the stand, the feet and stand bars didn’t perfectly fit together and required some force to line up the screwholes, which i believe is a large contributor to the mild…
The stand is lighter and smaller than other x stands which created a problem with knee space using a bench seat (I am 6″2). I had been using a 29 inch stool lately and this solved that problem. What really made this product a great buy for me was the ability to adjust the height so precisely! It uses interlocking cogwheels (?) that snap together easily as opposed to preset holes in every other stand I have owned. I used a sharpie to designate where the two meet for perfect comfort every…
