Don’t sound terrible. I might get them again Tubes I normally use have doubled in price the last few years. I wanted to save a few bucks so I thought I’d try these.Lost some bottom end. Tone is a bit colder.They work. Don’t sound terrible.But I won’t get them again.Edit: I have 3 of these in a Fender Blues Jr. After a week I can say that they do crunch really well when you turn it up. Fantastic Sound for the Price. My amplifier came with three 12AX7’s from unknown Chinese manufacturer in the pre-amp section. I thought it sounded great. When they needed replacing I ordered the JJ’s based on reviews and because they looked like the best mix of quality and price. What a fantastic upgrade. My amp went from great to fantastic.
