They are awesome and give the right amount of THUMP to each … I picked up a used lower end PDP kick pedal to use with a practice kit. I discovered that itâs stock beater was AWESOME. I have always loved Tamaâs rubber Iron Cobra beaters, but all 4 of them that i have owned (and my current PG900) have failed after the self adjusting head stopa staying in place. I like a heavier, thumpy kick sound, particularly the sound provided by rubber but even DW didnât seem to have great options in this department and their âcontrolâ series has that same âself…
