Just Get a Kala Huge disappointment. The market is saturated with low-priced uke’s, but this one really stood out to me. I loved the look of the unique wood cutaways, and I thought this would speak to a measure of pride in the overall craftsmanship.Not so.It looks beautiful out of the box, but that’s as far as my praise goes. 2 stars is being generous. Not a bad little outfit! It includes a nice tuner as well as a chord chart, extra set of strings, cleaning cloth, strap and a nice padded gig bag! All good stuff and the uke looks really nice as well. However when it seems to be too good to be true, it usually is.The build quality is a bit lacking in sloppy internal bracing with large chunks of wood shavings rattling about. , razor sharp frets that had the potential to cut someone if you weren’t careful.
