OK for studio work I laugh when something that by function needs to be heavy duty seems compelled to name it’s model “heavy duty”… Uh, if it wasn’t heavy duty, it would break within a week of the constant pounding it dishes out simply because it’s a percussion instrument. So, if something that is supposed to be heavy duty anyway, SAYS it’s heavy duty, my inclination is to NOT BELIEVE IT. And this is the case with this beater. I’m only using it in my studio electric kit, so it doesn’t get the pounding…
