Improved The Sound Of My Eastman Mandolin In addition to permitting me to plug in when playing out, the bridge noticeably enhanced the sound of my Eastman M-550. It was necessary to fit the bridge to the mandolin by placing fine grade sandpaper over the carved top and slowly working the base of the bridge in small movements until the legs were flush with the surface.
