The controller is great in theory Having owned the APC40 for about 6 months now, I have mixed feelings about its quality. The controller is great in theory, the faders are smooth, the knob placement is great, lightweight, launches scenes and clips, syncs with ableton flawlessly, and has a good crossfader as well. The only problems are longevity and akai support when that longevity comes to a halt. Loved it.The mkii is a huge letdown.Mapping has all kinds of glitches and errors, for example you can’t map a column of pads to control a range of an effect. Doing so means you can’t use ANY of the grid except the bottom row for some reason. Extremely frustrating. Also the placement of the “Stop all” button is right next to the “master” channel button, I have accidentally…
