Very good for the money, great foundation. Have one of the first generation, dual pickup but same body. This one has a better bridge and pickups. I managed to get a set of the new pickups, and yes, a big step up in quality. These aren’t perfect $1000 guitars, and there may be small flaws, like sharp edges on frets, or the nut needing a little filing, or maybe none of that, but they are a great foundation. The current model has full sized pots and caps (see image), and while it might need a little setup (so does a $800 MIM Fender), I…
