I have used nearly every string out there for my electric, and these Polywebs are what I’ll stick with. They last For. Ev. Er. I bet most people don’t use metal picks though….but even so, I go a couple years without needing a change. The neck parts of the strings remain fresh & slippery and only occasionally need a quick wipe. I don’t prefer these on my acoustics they’re too bright sounding for me on acoustic guitars,…
Great strings that work as advertised. The polyweb strings last longer than the nanoweb. I have several guitars that don’t get played much. The polywebs last 3 or 4 months for me on these less played guitars. Everyday playing the polywebs seem to go about a month. People complain about tone with some of these coated strings. Don’t forget what those little knobs on the guitar and amp are for.For me, there is more variation in tone with the “regular” strings than these Elixir’s. Regular strings decay quicker which…
