This adorable children’s Accordion is ideal for toddlers and kids. This Childs Accordion features 7 treble buttons and 2 bass buttons. This toy Accordion makes a wonderful gift for that special child and is a great value for the money!
It’s a toy, but even so it’s a bad one. The seal between the reeds and the air channel is so bad and the reeds so poor that on a couple of notes you need to use a whole bellows length to produce any noise at all. There is no way to play any melodies on this thing unless you are able to stick to the few buttons with good seals or unless the melody has lots of scale patterns in it so that you can alternate between pulls and draws evenly. It would also be extremely frustrating for a child…
For the price, this thing is truly like a genuine accordion. I thought we were buying a little toy, but with the keys and the buttons, you have to memorize the notes and what to press for the air release, etc. Really cute. Not sure if my 3 year old could even play this, and seeing how much I like it, I’m afraid to have her destroy it..If you’re thinking of getting this for a child younger than 5, and you don’t care if it’s messed up, then go ahead. Otherwise, this is like a real mini accordion…
