it seems pretty decent for the price Initially, it seems pretty decent for the price.Couldn’t tell you if the large flat sides are actually made of wood – there’s no exposed wood and those sides are a bit flexible. but it seems sturdy enough. Latches and hinges seem ok.Strong smell of adhesive from being packed up before it was cured, but I am sure it will dissipate. If you are sensitive to chemical smells you might want to let it air out in the basement or on the back porch for a few days.One…
For a case under $60 this is amazing I paid less than $60 for this, it seems to have wooden sides and vinyl covering. It is easily worth that price. It can’t compare to $100+ cases but for the sub-$60 price range it is well made and rugged enough. I put my Gremlin bass in it and it is quite adequate protection for it. There is one spot i will have to put a staple to keep the compartment door from peeling the cloth back, but i’ll just fire a staple into it on each side and problem solved.
