The one I received was a cheap plated brass slide, not stainless steel The item looked like it should, but after less than 30 hours of use it became clear that the one I received was a very cheaply plated brass slide and the plating was worn down in several spots on the playing surface. I have a lap dawg plated slide that I really like and that has been in solid use for over a year with no issues and wanted the different tone of the stainless slide. In first few days you may love it because it shines for first few days This bar is basically useless. It drags on the strings. Badly. You can see lines of imperfection where the strings contact the bar. It’s pitted, poorly chromed and not particularly smooth. The points on the ends of the top finger groove are SHARP and hurt my hand after trying to play with this thing for 10 minutes. Also, it feels light. I have a bar which is slightly smaller, but it weighs more. I’m not even sure this is stainless steel and may be chromed brass.Don’t bother. It’s…
