Unlike other booster pedals I detect no change in sound if the knob is all the way down but when it is at around 10:00 is makes everything just sing. I also used this product to replace a Donner Mini Compressor pedal (inferior imho). This has a better sustain, enhances the pickups without tone altering and is true bypass.
