There are better heads I have been a drummer most of my life & Remo heads were always my preference. However, on my banjo, they leave much to be desired. I’m not a newbie & I always use a digital drum dial to accurately install any heads. This was the most difficult head to get a consistent reading than any I’ve ever done.
