Great sticks!!! I thought I’d give these sticks a try because I already use a 16 inch long stick plus the 595 diameter is right where I want to be. I had a concern regarding the front-weighted stick, but after playing with them for an hour or two I had noticed that I needed less energy to play the same things I was already playing. Great Sticks. Dif than Zimdjian Dips. First thing I noticed… it’s a Longer stick than a Zildjian 7a Dip And promark, hickory 7a.I actually like the response and change in fulcrum. Although, when I hit the snare, I have more back end of the stick wailing my thigh :-/ So you may have to change Snare height/distance if you like a lower snare rim.*About the coating* It doesn’t feel as tacky as a rubber Zil Dip, but, it def has a more tactile feel than bare wood.
