Narrow/Low Fret Wire for Mandolin, Banjo, Ukelele, Dulcimer & more – Six Feet

This is six feet of beautiful, durable 18% nickel-silver fret wire, in handy straight 8-inch lengths. This fret wire is identical to Stewart-MacDonald’s #764 “Narrow/Low” fret wire, and can be used to repair/replace frets on an existing mandolin, banjo, dulcimer or other smaller instrument, as well as for new instrument building. The dimensions are as follows: Crown Width: .053″ (1.35mm), Crown Height: .037″ (.94mm), Tang Depth: .054″ (1.37mm).. A slot width of .023″ is recommended for best results when installing this fret wire.
