In other words, I’m not fussy about tuning, so I wasn’t really worried about getting machine heads that stay in tune forever. Good quality and easy to install. I used these to modernize a 1967 Silvertone (Teicho) Sunburst Strat (my first electric guitar). I debated over leaving it original with the cheapo Japanese strip tuners, but they were basically inoperative and I wanted to play the old beast. With some slight reaming of the tuner holes, these worked like a champ. I haven’t had them in long, but they appear to be just as good of quality as the tuners on a new Ovation I recently purchases.
