It’s a toy, not an instrument. I’ve played the piano for 30 years. My son wanted to learn the Ukulele, so when it came time to buy him his first instrument I read several reviews that said this was a great starter instrument and bought it for him. To me, a starter instrument is a functional instrument that, while not beautiful or exotic or perfect, is capable of producing good sound in the hands of an educated musician.
