I’ve owned 4 Ludwig kits in that time, from a classic marble finished ’65 to my current Legacy.This is a top notch Ludwig kit, just shrunken down to tot size. Beautiful Looking and Sounding Drum Shells. Hardware is Solid. Cymbals Are Meh. Beautiful drum shells. Solid hardware. Cheap/ very small cymbal & high-hat cymbals, but the high-hat stand and cymbal stand are pretty decent. Heads are OK. Sound is good. Needs to be tuned/tweaked to get everything to play nicely together, but can be done.The drums (shells) are great. Very well painted – I couldn’t find any flaws in the Blue kit we purchased. My husband (who is a musician) was able to put it together very easily, however, if you’re not musically inclined, there are no directions for putting it together so you may need to consult Youtube. It’s sturdy enough that my husband is able to sit down and play it as though it were a full sized kit.
