I purchased this to hold a practice pad for practice without bothering family and neighbors, and it seems to work well for that.Now, the deficiencies. It is small, barely tall enough for an adult to use while sitting. It is very light duty; I use it for a 12″ practice pad and that is fine, but I wouldn’t recommend actually putting a snare drum on it as it would surely tip over or fall apart with anything more…
Very sturdy for the money Very sturdy for the money. If you are looking for high end stuff, pull out your wallet and look for a more expensive stand. If you want a great sturdy snare stand for cheap: look no further.I ordered this late at night and should have checked sizes better, because as received it will not hold my 10″ Roland PD-105 pad (so be warned). After some Macgyver-ing in the form of raising the top of the turn knob by adding some cut open tube&tape, I was able to make it fit great…
