I pretty much knew this was the octave mando I wanted since it seems to be the best combination of affordability and good sound, but I was really skeptical at first about ordering an instrument online. The nice thing is that it comes with a great case and they ship it in that case. Right out of the box I had to just tune it up, and then there was some buzzing on some frets… but I realized I just had to turn the knobs on the bridge to raise it more and then it played beautifully.
