Perfect in all aspects This case is very light and has very good foam padding all around. What I like about this case as opposed to others in this price range is that it is a snug fit with more that 1″ of soft padding around the rims and padding to match the contour of the arched back. The other Canadian hardshell cases that I own have 1/2 inch of less spongy padding and a 1/2 inch of play so the mando can shift around inside the case. I ordered this with a little bit of hesitation after reading about other cases that weren’t large enough for some mandolins. This fit my A-Style Eastman perfectly and I’m sure that it would fit a similarly sized F-Style as well as there is room for the scroll and the point. This is a beautiful case. Seemingly well made with quality materials. It fit my German-made Hofler well, albeit a little snug around the body. But to be fair, my resonator is 14â in diameter exactly and I read that it measured either 14â or 14.25â on the interior. Iâm guessing itâs probably closer to 14.25â-14.5â without the thick padding â so probably right around 14â with it. But even so, it still fits in fine and if nothing else, will at least have less room to move around. I read someoneâs…
