Too fiddly. It is VERY light, which is why I gave it three stars. As a gigging drummer, I’m all for the concept of light hardware. But otherwise, I just don’t like it, and can’t seem to get used to it. When setting it up, I find myself fiddling with it for much longer than usual. I find it hard to get the snare flat. this stand works fine for me For the most part, this stand works fine for me. But there are two things that I hadn’t considered before purchase. One is that you will need to use the memory-lock to keep the snare base from sinking. If you are the only player, then that’s fine, but if you share your kit with another taller/shorter drummer, then it’s not going to be able to be adjusted quickly enough between players.
