I play a lawsuit era p-bass clone through 100w tube head (fender showman circuit) and 1×15 ampeg cab. These strings have a strong sonic character and puttig them on my bass made my tone a lot more aggressive and mid/treble-y.These strings are sadly a bit more “floppy” than I like, had to raise the action to compensate for low tension, but the HOT PINKness is cool enough that I don’t mind moving the string that much further when I fret.The coating is easy on the fingers but…
