I am really happy with the WhammyDT I was going to buy the “Drop” but changed my mind and decided to upgrade from my Whammy 2 unit to this unit. I am really happy with the WhammyDT. I got a few more harmony option and the additional feature of being able to track the guitar up or down through various tunings (not just down) is really cool. It saves me a ton of time not having to retune my guitar to play along with various tracks. The digital tracking is hardly noticeable. Now from standard tuning, I can go down 1/2 step…

I download guitar backing tracks and some songs are tuned down a half step. This effect allows you to play along without grabbing another guitar or tuning all 6 strings down.
