The Pro-B Stand is fabricated from sustainable solid African Sapele hardwood. This stand is designed to temporarily and securely support specific types of instruments in a protected or monitored environment. Pro-B supports an open or resonator back banjo. It will also support certain resonator, jazz guitars, to include Dobro type instruments with bodies up to 3″ thick at the bout. Beautiful and functional I was worried that this stand wouldnât work well for an openback banjo, but it works perfectly. The Hercules stand I had purchased earlier had a gap in the middle and the banjo would lean way backâ I had to rig it up with a board to get my banjo to stand upright. I wouldnât advise getting this stand if youâre worried about rambunctious children or pets, but if youâre looking for an attractive stand in a quiet spot, this would be a great choice. Works great! I was a little concerned when Amazon said it had been delivered. I went to the front door-no package! Went to the Amazon website where it indicated it had been left in my mailbox.
