LIKE MESA BOOGIE + HM-2 tones! Not a clone! BLOWN AWAY. Like Mesa boogie tones + HM2 vibes. Ultra thick saturated tones, definitely not a clone (I thought it would be) and thatâs a good thing!Iâd like to preface this by saying I am a guitarist, pedal aficionado and an audio recording/mastering engineer.. so I am a bit picky when it comes to my distortions.I like distortions to be as dirty and gnarly as possible and pronounced but without being fizzy. I like the fact that there is a usable E Q … I bought this pedal on a whim, after being unsatisfied with the built-in gain on my new amp. I was honestly not sure what to expect, reviews were good and demos were good; but I was still skeptical. But I can say for sure that this is a lot of pedal for the money and far exceeded my expectations.I’ve seen some people say that it’s similar to the Boss HM-2, but I had an HM-2 clone and I don’t feel like they are all that similar.
