Nice open back case that fits a 22 fret banjo with a 12 inch rim! I bought this for our son’s first banjo, an 11″ openback; it was a perfect fit. The padding is sufficient for taking in the car, when you will have the instrument in sight, at all times, but I wouldn’t check it on an airplane in this or put it anywhere something heavy could inadvertently be placed on top of it…there isn’t enough protection to the neck.
