Nice open back case that fits a 22 fret banjo with a 12 inch rim! I bought this for our son’s first banjo, an 11″ openback; it was a perfect fit. The padding is sufficient for taking in the car, when you will have the instrument in sight, at all times, but I wouldn’t check it on an airplane in this or put it anywhere something heavy could inadvertently be placed on top of it…there isn’t enough protection to the neck. This bag will provide protection from dings and scratches, but not major impacts.The pockets provide enough storage for a clip on…
