These definitely do what they’re designed to do very well. I’m traditionally a rocker and have been used to using 5A’s for many years, but in my older age I’m getting into more styles of music and some of the cymbal work and more complex rhythms have made me search for a different stick. I’m impressed with the balance of these sticks – The long taper gives me the speed and bounce I need while feeling more like an extension of my hand.
