Great Deal, Great Guitar What a surprise. $119 for all this? It comes in a really nice little case. everything beautifully packed and secure. The guitar is good solid piece of wood, with a pretty grain and a satin finish. The hardware is solid, the tuners are tight with no play, the pick up is pretty good – a little hum and maybe a little low on output but overall the sound is what you’d expect and probably want. My only complain is that the legs don’t thread on that easily – the middle one really didn’t want to go on…
but I am comfortable and can accompany singes and solo on most country … iÊ»ve been playing guitar for many years – not a rocker, not lead, but a lot of slack key and solid comping/rhythym, and finally took the leap into lap steel with this guitar. As a beginner on a very limited fixed income, i could not splurge on top-of-the-line instruments, and anticipated some disappointment.
