Nicely padded…great size for soprano uke. This doesn’t fold up as small as the stand in my local uke shop, however, it is a VERY sturdy, nicely padded stand. My soprano uke is small and fits perfectly on the stand. I just tried my kids’ guitar and the sturdy stand hasn’t faltered…very secure! I think I might buy another for the guitar!
