I would recommend getting another 10 inch rim to mount on the … Rampad really had a unique idea when making this product. When tuning for a marching type of feel, I tightened it down and the plastic broke a little. It still works perfectly. I would recommend getting another 10 inch rim to mount on the bottom with longer lugs to get even more of marching snare feel and to prevent the plastic from breaking.
