Works perfectly for my splash cymbal. I have this extending from a straight stand with a crash cymbal on it and this has a pretty decent reach, so my splash isn’t in the way of the crash cymbal it is next to at all. It also feels very sturdy like it could hold other types of cymbals as well. I will probably be ordering another one soon and trying it out with some larger cymbals. Way cheaper than getting a whole stand or getting the individual connecting parts at a music store. I saved $50…
