Some people seemconfused about bridge location. The distance from the nut to the 12th fret &12th fret to the bridge should be the same. Oscar Schmidt Banjouke Gets the Job Done (with a Twang) This Oscar Schmidt is my first banjolele. I have been playing uke for a year. I had no idea how very different it would be. For starters, you have to set up the intonation. The movable bridge has to be accurate. You have to measure the distance from the nut to the middle of the 12th fret.
