Great keyboard and midi controller! This is really a hidden gem. It acts as a midi controller of course, but also acts as a stand-alone keyboard meaning you can hear what you’re playing without connecting it to your computer (via headphones and/or AC adaptor – not included). It’s completely plug-and-play and I had no problems hooking it up via USB to my iMac. It worked right away with Garageband, MuseScore, Finale, etc. It has a standard midi input/output and USB, headphones, sustain, AUX out. The only drawback is it does NOT…
Slightly off key but sounds great otherwise. The clean white design is eye-catching, the sound is rich and clear . . . until you gradually realize that it’s just a little off key. There is a youtube video (in another language) that has a demo with a tuner attached to the piano, confirming that the sounds are not exact. If you are not a serious musician or a perfectionist, the otherwise realistic piano sound might be just fine for you, and if I didn’t mention this flaw here, you might not even notice it.
