Too Twangy to Tweet about I like the feel of the strings on my fingers. However, my only objection to them is the top 3 strings sound “twangy”. Perhaps this might be because they are new and I’m hoping after they have stretched out for a while the twangy sound will dissipate. Good durability, clear, crisp, rich sound until they oxidize. I am new to playing the guitar but I have an extremely keen ear when it comes to tone, pitch, clarity, etc. I was looking for strings that were slow to oxidize and retained their sound quality. These strings sound amazing at first but definitely dull over time. I should probably mention that I play every day for at least 3-4 hours so mine probably wear down a lot faster than most but I have not had any break on me and once they get a good cleaning they sound a bit better.
