Lots of extra boom on recordings and live miking.. I got the “Silver Sand” one becuase it closely matches the Silver sparkle of my drums, and contrasts against the black of my resonant head. I love the deep, chest punching boom the kickport gives on recordings and live miking. Was very easy to install after removing the Evans 22″ EQ resonant head from my bass drum. Took longer to get the head off than it did to install the kickport, and hole was already factory cut. I just adhered the reinforcing ring around the oustide of the port…
