Perfect in all aspects This case is very light and has very good foam padding all around. What I like about this case as opposed to others in this price range is that it is a snug fit with more that 1″ of soft padding around the rims and padding to match the contour of the arched back. I ordered this with a little bit of hesitation after reading about other cases that weren’t large enough for some mandolins. This fit my A-Style Eastman perfectly and I’m sure that it would fit a similarly sized F-Style as well as there is room for the scroll and the point. I love the look of the burlap fabric – very clean appearance. The closures work well and hold the case tight. The only drawback I would mention is the lock. This is a beautiful case. Seemingly well made with quality materials. It fit my German-made Hofler well, albeit a little snug around the body. But to be fair, my resonator is 14” in diameter exactly and I read that it measured either 14” or 14.25” on the interior. I’m guessing it’s probably closer to 14.25”-14.5” without the thick padding — so probably right around 14” with it.
