It’s a snare-side head – it works great It’s a 14″ snare-side head. It does what it does. Not much to write here. Evans is quality equipment. I installed it, tuned it, and never saw it again. It tuned well and didn’t break while I was installing it, although I’ve never broken a drum head by installing it. You don’t pay much attention to snare-side heads for good reason – they’re just there. It works. No problems. I used the 300 series. I don’t put much thought into the snare-side.
