It’s an “ok” case for the price point Ordered the silver CRF2000, but received the CRF1000 model. Had to work that out with customer service. I reported the discrepancy of 3 different weights listed in the description and information sections of “both” models, as of yet it has NOT been corrected in either listing (its been several weeks). This case does not weigh 12-15 lbs, it is less than 10 lbs. For those of you looking at both models, the only difference between the CRF1000 and CRF2000 is a slight variation in the…
A banjo case worth the price! I’ve played bluegrass banjo for over 40 years. I’ve owned and handled many cases. This banjo case gets 5 stars from me! With the case body being seemless fiberglass, it is virtually rain-proof. There is a nice rubber seal completely around the edge. I have to tug a little on the upper-lid to get it to release the seal and open. The handle is very sturdy and comfortable. It comes with two different attachable straps. One strap lets you put it over a shoulder. The other strap is actually…
Solid. Don’t waste your money on the CRF1000 OK, even further along, feel even better about this case over the 1000, since my last review. The 1000, though seemingly similar construction, isn’t as rigid. The 2000 is Solid. Compared to the 1000, the fixed padding outlines the strings/bridge and better molds to the resonator. The Handle is now much more comfortable, though not leather. About the non-fixed padding: less is more! Crossrock pushes this 2000 case, imo, as having more room for your beloved than the 1000. Yes it does,…
